For over 33 years, we have served people of the Twin Cities as the premier car audio and security dealer. We can help you find new, innovative and helpful aftermarket parts and accessories from companies like Pioneer, Sony, Kenwood Excelon, JVC, Clarion, Jensen and Rockford Fosgate for whatever it is you get around in.
Mach 1 opened up April 1, 1986, during a time when mobile communications consisted of CB radios and cellular systems that cost upwards of $2,000 (and stayed in your car when you got out). Some new cars still came with 8 track players as standard equipment and a CD was something you invested in in a bank. As far as video in your vehicle, a drive-in theater was the only way to watch a movie while sitting in your car.
Mach 1 installs the latest in video entertainment, Bluetooth connectivity, and iPod integration into standard factory systems. But some things don't change. You can get a Pioneer AM/FM cassette deck still installed in your car if you like. Believe it or not, CD-players are still available too. And in addition to AM/FM you have choices like a Sirius/XM subscription service or HD radio on many new in-dash units. And on selected units you can connect your cell phone into your system and use such features as Pandora and other internet-based systems. You can also get directions on the fly with units that have built in navigation.
I've been working with Mach1 for several years. They've done a number of projects for me, from simple phone mounts to full construction of a custom AV console and wiring of a conversion van. Brent and Mark in Hopkins are great to work with. They're creative, do thorough work, and stand behind everything they do. Anytime I've had an issue, they address it to my satisfaction.
Mark is a master at all things AV. I bring him all my crazy ideas, and he figures out a way to make it happen. The man is a genius.
Highly recommended -- I won't go anywhere else.
